Application overview
How Koyo bearings serve CNC Machine Tools
CNC machining centers, lathes and automation equipment use linear guides, ball screws and precision spindle bearings for accurate, repeatable motion. Machine builders and retrofit shops need parts with the right precision class, preload and mounting dimensions.
- Match the linear guide rail size, block type (flange or square) and preload class to the existing carriage.
- Use paired angular contact ball bearings in back-to-back or face-to-face arrangement on spindles and ball screw supports.
- Check the ball screw diameter, lead and end machining against the machine drawing before ordering.
- Specify thrust ball bearings for axial support where loads are moderate and speeds are low.
